Discover the delights of Spain when you sail on a 3-night mini cruise from Portsmouth to Bilbao.

Guggenheim museum visit
If you're looking to expand your knowledge of fine art, or to experience a little culture, then pay a visit to the Guggenheim Museum. As the cultural and tourist driving force of the Basque country, this spectacular building is covered with titanium sheets and houses its own private collection. This Fine Arts Museum is among the best of its kind in Spain, housing three collections: art through the centuries, contemporary art and the Basque art. The museum visit is not available on Mondays between September and July.
Taste of old and new Bilbao
A guided walking tour of old and new Bilbao giving you the opportunity to enjoy the architectural heritage and indulge in some retail therapy at the same time.
The Old Quarter has a wide range of products in traditional establishments, shops selling the latest fashions and modern shopping centres. There are all kinds of traditional produce, antique books, food and modern clothing. This area is also a great place for eating out, why not sample the local tapas?
Along with the more traditional shops of the Old Quarter there is also Indautxu, the area for 'high street' shopping. Here you can purchase anything - made-to-measure shirts, jewellery or intricately hand-embroidered cloth. Strolling through the streets gives you the perfect opportunity to appreciate the stunning architecture of the buildings.
Spanish fishing village - Castro Urdiales
To experience a traditional Spanish fishing village there is a coach trip to Castro Urdiales. The village has the charm of a quaint fishing village coupled with rich tradition. The town centre with it characteristic houses, monuments and narrow streets makes it perfect for strolling through. Whilst in Castro Urdiales look out for the symbolic sites of the church of Santa Maria, and the castle-lighthouse, which are significant examples of the Cantabria's Gothic architecture.
